Dietrich Kammer, Technische Universität Dresden,  Germany
Dietrich Kammer is a postdoctoral researcher at Technische
Universität Dresden, affiliated with the Chair of Media Design.
His research is focused on the formalization of gestural input,
especially with regards to multitouch technology. Further areas
of research are semiotics in HCI, computer graphics, and
information visualization.
Mandy Keck, Technische Universität Dresden, Germany
Mandy Keck is researcher and PhD student at Technische
Universität Dresden, at the Chair of Media Design. Her
research is focused on data visualization, information search
and HCI. She has many years of experience in the research
of information visualization in different cooperation projects
with industrial partners, currently with a strong focus on
visualizations for Big Data environments.
Andreas Both, DATEV eG, Nürnberg, Germany
Andreas Both is a computer scientist dedicated to applied
research in an industrial context.  At Web-driven companies
he has worked for many years in leading research and
development positions on different aspects of modern Web
technologies. Concurrently, he is author of 40+ scientific
papers spreading from big data analytics to human-computer
Giulio Jacucci, University of Helsinki, Finland
Giulio Jacucci is Professor at the Department of Computer
Science (University of Helsinki). His area of research is
human-computer interaction and intelligent user interfaces.
He has previously been professor at the Department of
Design Aalto University and has contributed to design
methods also co-authoring Design Thinks, a book by
MIT Press.
Rainer Groh, Technische Universität Dresden, Germany
Rainer Groh graduated from Technische Universität Ilmenau
with a degree in scientific instrumentation and from the
University of Art and Design Halle with a degree in industrial
design. He received his doctor’s degree at TU Ilmenau and is
currently professor for media design at Technische Universität
Dresden. Research efforts are concentrated on extending the
repertoire of methodical tools and rules of design by taking
multi-modality into account.
